Your new home or renovation project can be broken down into 3 major phases: pre-construction, construction, and post-completion.
Pre-Construction
Whether you are planning to build new or renovate, our work begins with a Budget Study. At this time, you might be bringing us plans you’ve already completed, or we might simply be referencing inspiration photos and napkin sketches! Regardless, we dig into the details at our initial meeting, homing in on your vision, and identifying key project goals. Subsequently, our team completes a Budget Study which outlines what we believe to be the required investment (or range thereof) for your project. This should serve as a springboard for further discussion and a guide for developing the scope of work. Once we’ve ensured alignment with your budget goals, we dive into design! Our team will guide you through the design process, offering expert insight into feasibility and constructability, and providing accountability to established project goals at critical stages of design.
Following design (or if you came to us with already completed plans), we carefully develop and document a thorough scope of work for the project. This is a vitally important step in our process which ultimately ensures an aligned approach and more accurate cost estimations. We then solicit bids from our prequalified trade partners and vendors. Our goal is to prepare a detailed, comprehensive, and transparent proposal. You should have a confident understanding of your project’s scope and the value proposed. By this time, a contract can be executed with confidence and excited anticipation!
Construction
The excitement is taken to a new level once construction begins! Our diligent planning is put into action as we engage our valued trade partners to help bring your project to life. Each trade receives a well-defined scope of work, and we contract only with skilled and experienced craftsmen. Our team develops and manages schedules, working to minimize the effects of any delays on the completion date. We monitor and oversee the quality of materials and labor being provided throughout construction. We facilitate meetings and walkthroughs with you, the interior designer, and other key professionals in order to keep the team informed and aligned as work progresses. We update you regularly and with complete transparency as to project schedule and budget. Our goal is to keep your excitement levels high and stress levels low. Inevitably, every project will experience a setback at some stage in its journey. Our commitment is that integrity will guide our actions, and our determination will remain steadfast.
Post-Completion
You’re finally taking full possession of the home created specifically for the life you’re building. It’s an exciting and busy transition for you! We get it. Our team has worked tirelessly to reach this milestone, and we’ve put the finishing touches on every detail. We take time to ensure you are familiar with the new components and systems contained in your home, and we provide the resources needed to confidently take ownership and navigate potential challenges as they may arise. You can have peace of mind knowing the care and skill with which your home has been crafted. Our team will introduce you to our warranty process and our service capabilities, backed by our trusted trade partners and vendors.
